What is SignalForge AI (the EA Forge?)

You may know us as EA Forge. That name stuck because our first product was an Expert Advisor that bridged TradingView alerts to MetaTrader 5. We rebranded to SignalForge AI to reflect the full platform we have built since then — but the core idea is the same: connect your TradingView Pine Scripts to your MT5 terminal so trades execute automatically.

SignalForge AI is the most affordable TradingView-to-MT5 bridge on the market. Plans start at $4.99/mo. We built it specifically for prop-firm traders who need rock-solid risk controls, low latency, and zero slippage. Whether you trade XAUUSD, EURUSD, or any other pair, the EA handles the entire execution pipeline.

Why EA Forge became SignalForge AI

EA Forge began as exactly what the name suggests: an Expert Advisor (EA) that took TradingView alerts and turned them into MetaTrader 5 orders. That EA is still here — it is the execution engine at the centre of the platform. What changed is everything around it.

Over time the product outgrew a single EA. Traders asked for a dashboard to watch every account in one place, cloud hosting so MT5 never has to run on their own PC, a drawdown shield for prop-firm challenges, and — arriving with the Pro plan in Q3 2026 — an AI filter that reads market context before each signal fires. "SignalForge AI" describes that whole platform. The EA you knew as EA Forge is now the SignalForge EA, built by the same one-person team in Alicante.

If you already ran EA Forge, there is nothing to reinstall or reconfigure. The EA file, your token, your webhooks and your alerts all keep working untouched — only the branding moved. Sign in to your existing account and you are already on the current platform.

How EA Forge (SignalForge) compares to other bridges

If you were comparing EA Forge against alternatives, the same comparison holds under the SignalForge name. Against PineConnector ($39/mo) and TradingConnector ($14.99/mo), SignalForge does the same TradingView-to-MT5 routing from $4.99/mo and adds the Prop Firm Shield neither of them ships. See the full side-by-side in our best TradingView-to-MT5 bridge test and the PineConnector alternatives roundup.

What the SignalForge EA does

The EA is the engine that runs inside your MetaTrader 5 terminal. Here is what it handles:

  • Webhook execution — receives JSON alerts from TradingView and converts them into MT5 orders in milliseconds.
  • Symbol resolution — automatically maps your TradingView symbol to the correct MT5 broker symbol (e.g. XAUUSD to XAUUSD.m).
  • Prop Firm Shield — built-in daily and overall drawdown limits that pause trading automatically when thresholds are hit. Designed for FTMO, MyFundedFX, and other prop firms.
  • News Filter — pauses execution around high-impact events (NFP, CPI, FOMC) so you avoid unpredictable spikes.
  • Trend Filter — blocks counter-trend trades when the broader market direction does not align with your signal.
  • Telegram notifications — get instant alerts on every trade open, close, and drawdown event right in your Telegram.

How to set it up (5 minutes)

  1. Subscribe — create your account at signalforge-ai.com/signup and pick a plan.
  2. Install the EA — download the .ex5 file, copy it to your MT5 Experts folder, and restart the terminal.
  3. Allow WebRequest — in MT5 go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors and add https://api.signalforge-ai.com to the allowed URLs list.
  4. Paste your token — attach the EA to any chart, open the Inputs tab, and paste your unique API token from the dashboard.
  5. Create your alert — in TradingView, create an alert with a Webhook URL pointing to your SignalForge endpoint and format the message as JSON.

That is it. Your next TradingView alert will execute automatically on MT5.

FAQ

Yes. EA Forge is a name many traders remember from earlier versions of SignalForge AI. The product, team, and platform are the same. SignalForge AI is the current name.
The SignalForge EA bridges TradingView alerts to your MetaTrader 5 terminal. It receives webhooks, resolves the symbol, manages lot sizing, and executes trades in milliseconds. It also includes Prop Firm Shield, News Filter, Trend Filter, and Telegram notifications.
Plans start at $4.99/mo (Starter). The Trader tier is $14.99/mo. SFCloud hosting starts at $6.99/mo. There is a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.

No. EA Forge and SignalForge AI are the same product under the current name. Your EA file, API token, webhooks and TradingView alerts keep working unchanged — only the branding moved. Just sign in to your existing account.
SignalForge is MT5-first and does not support MT4. If you are locked into MT4, TradingConnector is the alternative that covers both terminals — see our bridge comparison for the trade-offs.
Price and risk controls. SignalForge starts at $4.99/mo versus PineConnector at $39/mo for the same TradingView-to-MT5 routing, and the Trader plan adds a Prop Firm Shield that watches your drawdown and halts before you breach FTMO or FundedNext limits — something PineConnector does not do. The webhook parser also reads the PineConnector format natively, so migration takes about five minutes.
